Now I’m not usually one of those real estate agents who sends out recipes, but I thought I would share one of my favorite summer drink recipes. I hope you like it. It’s called Ginger Hibiscus Iced Tea and it’s my own creation. I made it for the first time a few years ago and for the first this summer on Monday. And oh my, it’s soooooo refreshing, healthy and good. It’s low calorie and low carbs so you can drink as much as you want.
2 inches of fresh ginger peeled and sliced
5 ½ cups of water
5-6 packets of *stevia
Bring the ginger to boil in 2 cups of water. Reduce heat to low/simmer for 25 minutes. Boil the remaining water in a pot. Remove from burner and add the 4 teabags and the ginger water. (Remove the ginger). Let steep and cool down. Add the stevia. Pour into a pitcher and keep refrigerated. Serve ice cold. Add lemon or mint for a different spin on the recipe.
